A slightly different subculture began with the 80s women's rights movements. A pioneer of
this Готическая мода subculture in the celebrity world was Boy George. Madonna was the start of many things, but in the Готическая мода and punk world - two things: Темнаяand metal crosses. This was in the late 1980s.
As far as I know, the cyberpunk fashion just increased in following with the 1990s. As for the victorian and romantic Готическая мода, I would have to say that they also only increased in following, beginning mostly in the mid-80s and mid-90s. (With the increasing popularity of leather, you get your leather goths and leather punks) No real date can be put on a Готическая мода, because despite the originality, the inspiration of a time is going to influence many people.
Basically: if someone said they were the first Готическая мода in 1991, somebody else might pop up and say that they were in 1987 or something. It depends on the location and the events that go on, and how a certain group of Готические Люди takes in a Готическая мода subculture, that kind of stuff. You can't put a label on Готическая мода, and in the same way you can't label a date with the subculture.
I've focused on the growth of Готическая мода through the 20th century. I don't know where the Готическая мода will be 5 years from
now. I imagine it will splinter into more subcultures as time wears on. We are too intelligent to allow the Готическая мода to die...
